Lane 3: (Growth) The Growing a Business Lane
You already know this isn’t just a hobby.
You’ve sold things. You’ve proven demand.
Now the questions change:
Why does this feel harder than it should?
Where is my time actually going?
Why isn’t the income matching the effort?
What needs to be fixed, simplified, or rebuilt?
This lane is about optimization, systems, and alignment — not doing more, but doing better.
step one
Self-validation
You didn’t accidentally end up here.
You’ve already done the hard part most people never do — you started.
You’ve made products.
You’ve sold (or tried to).
You’ve learned by doing, not just dreaming.
If things feel messy, inconsistent, or heavier than expected, that doesn’t mean you failed.
It means you built something without the right structure yet — which is normal.
👉 This stage isn’t about motivation.
It’s about refinement.
step two
New insight (where you are & why)
You’re not stuck because you lack ideas or effort.
You’re stuck because growth has changed the rules.
What worked when this was:
- “just for fun”
- “a side thing”
- “let’s see what happens”…doesn’t work once:
- time matters
- money matters
- energy matters
You’re in the transition zone — where creativity alone isn’t enough, but full-blown scaling isn’t the answer either.
The friction you’re feeling is feedback, not failure.
step 3
Recognize Your Strengths
Before fixing anything, let’s name what’s solid:
- You can create (skills aren’t the problem)
- You understand your customer more than you think
- You’ve already proven people will pay
- You’re capable of consistency — you just need direction
- You care about sustainability, not just sales
That means you don’t need:
❌ more random products
❌ more platforms
❌ more advice from people behind you
You need alignment, not more effort.
step 4
Focus (what to work on now)
This is the reset point — not a restart.
Right now, your job is to focus on:
- Simplifying your offers (less, clearer, stronger)
- Fixing pricing & margins so effort matches income
- Cleaning up systems that drain your energy
- Choosing one priority lane instead of juggling everything
- Designing the business around your life, not the other way around
Not:
- Scaling
- Hiring
- Chasing trends
- Adding new product lines
👉 Clarity first.
Then optimization.
Then growth
From me to you.
This stage matters way more than people admit. Most burnout doesn’t come from trying. It comes from skipping clarity and pushing anyway.
I’ll be popping into your inbox with emails that feel more like check-ins than lectures, helping you sort through ideas, options, and next steps without overwhelm.
No hype.
No “you shoulds.”
No pressure to become anything you don’t want to be.
Just support while you figure out what you actually want this to look like. And I’m really glad you’re here. 💛
